▶ Infrared Thermometer
- In general temperature measurement, a thermocouple can be used for direct contact with the heating element for measurement. However, in some cases, it is impossible to detect temperature by direct contact.
- In such a case, it is convenient to use an IR thermometer as the temperature can be measured in a contactless manner.
- When using an IR thermometer, the emissivity value has to be adjusted according to the object's material or color as the thermometer converts the wavelength and amount of IR emitted from the object to temperature.
